Star Trek Meets The A-Team
I just rewatched Star Trek over the holiday weekend. God, I love that movie. I'm excited to see what they do in this new alternate timeline in the upcoming sequel(s).
To help ease you back in to the work week after a great long holiday weekend, check out this great Star Trek/A-Team mash-up:

Oh Hipsters...
This spoof is hilarious!
Speaking of, what did you guys think of Where the Wild Things Are? I liked it, but not nearly as much as I thought I would given the great reviews it got.

Bollywood Superman
I love Bollywood films - always so fun and musical. Almost every Bollywood movie includes musical numbers, regardless if it's drama, comedy, romance, thriller, etc. It's just a part of the culture and how their cinema works. I love it! Check out this great clip of a Bollywood superhero romance film.
If you're interested in Bollywood films, I really suggest watching Lagaan. Great movie that weaves the musical numbers into a serious tale.

Improv Everywhere Strikes Again!
Improv Everywhere hit the streets with their latest show: Grocery Store Musical! Check it out:
You might not be familar with the name, but I'm sure you've seen their previous work.
Food Court Musical:
Grand Central Station:
The Grand Central is my favorite. I honestly don't know how I'd react if everyone just froze around me in a public space. It'd be so weird!

Monday Videos
Monday at work can be a drag. Here are some videos to help ease you into the work week!
I love that while one person is in the foreground, you can see everyone else rocking out in back. I especially love the one woman who isn't participating and still trying to work during the madness.
Isn't it crazy what some people can do with a camera, cardboard, and paint? I wonder how long this video took to make!

For your Friday
This may be the cutest commercial I have ever seen. If you've seen cuter, PLEASE link it in the comments because I need more cute in my life!
With this great video, I can see why Rio will be hosting the 2016 Olympics. It makes me want to go!

Clips of the Week: Single Ladies
The baby is so cute! I'm sure we'll be seeing her on So You Think You Can Dance (or rather it's future equivalent) in 18 years!
I love love love Glee! This week's episode was a little light on the singing, but this dance totally makes up for it!
This isn't what aired on SNL, but they've really cracked down on copyright infringement so this was the best I could find. Still funny!

Almost the weekend!
To get you through the home stretch at work, some of my favorite random clips!
I'm a HUGE Lady Gaga fan. Love the weird fashion, the show stopping antics, everything. She has real talent to back up her oddities, plus her songs are damn catchy. Anyone else planning on going to the Kanye West/Lady Gaga tour this fall? I'm going, don't care about cost! Also, did you guys notice Mark from SYTYCD Season 4 as the featured dancer? Awesome!
Those poor kids. Adorable, though.

A cute, a fail, and a funny!
Should proposals have their own production value? This engagement proposal is a little over the top, but it's so adorable! I love it!
Hilarious! I feel bad for the guy, yet can't stop laughing.
As I mentioned earlier, I'm a huge fan of How I Met Your Mother. This commericial for the show is old, but I still think it's funny. CBS is not known for their young, hip audience. It's known for it's crime shows. And HIMYM totally knows how to play to its strengths.

Happy Friday!
Dirty Dancing with Charlene Yi and Channing Tatum (what a babe!):
Sid and Nancy with Zooey Deschenel and Joseph Gordon Lovitt (tangently related to (500) Days of Summer):

These are a couple great clips from a small production company that will be rolling these out over the coming months. They get some rising stars to make short parodies of film scenes that are part of our cultural lexicon, most everyone knows these scenes.
Its funny how these clips are generating so much buzz and attention, since plenty of people make scenes like this at home on their camcorders. But, since these are made by already famous people with money behind it to make it look good, they're deemed funnier, wittier, and more entertaining. While I enjoyed these, I'd love to see any homemade ones from youtube, if you guys have seen any.

Clips of the Week
I'm thinking this will be a new thing for every friday: I'll post a few clips from things I found interesting that didn't really fit into any of my other blog posts.
1. Watcha Say Remix by Jason Derulo
This is KT's song of the moment, and I have to admit it's pretty damn catchy.
I love the song that it samples (Imogen Heap's Hide and Seek), and this adds
the more radio friendly, catchy hip hop hook.

I'm a huge Harry Potter fan (as if you couldn't tell) and this video is
hilarious!
hilarious!
3. My favorite dance from this week's So You Think You Can Dance
Jeanine blew everyone away. Now that she has a partner that
can keep up with her technically and doesn't overshadow
her personality, she's a force to be reckoned with.
