The Dilemma: First Trailer

The official description from Universal Pictures:
Vince Vaughn and Kevin James headline an all-star comedy from director Ron Howard and producer Brian Grazer about a man who finds out that what you don't say to a friend is just as important as what you do. Jennifer Connelly, Winona Ryder, Channing Tatum and Queen Latifah join them in The Dilemma, a story of how far you can bend a brotherly bond before it snaps. Since college, confirmed bachelor Ronny (Vaughn) and happily married Nick (James) have been through thick and thin. Now partners in an auto design firm, the two pals are vying to land a dream project that would launch their company. With Ronny's girlfriend, Beth (Connelly), and Nick's wife, Geneva (Ryder), by their sides, they're unbeatable. But Ronny's world is turned upside down when he inadvertently sees Geneva out with another man and makes it his mission to get answers. As the amateur investigation dissolves his world into comic mayhem, he learns that Nick has a few secrets of his own. Now, with the clock ticking and pressure mounting on the biggest presentation of their careers, Ronny must decide what will happen if he reveals the truth to his best friend.

This is the first comedy from Ron Howard in a decade, since his work on How The Grinch Stole Christmas and EdTV. That alone would have me intrigued, but I'm a fan of both Vince Vaughn and Kevin James, so you can definitely count me in.

Advance Review: Catfish

The marketing for this movie make it look like a horror film. With the creepy music at the end, the quotes comparing it to Hitchcock and other mystery films...they're all wrong.

The film does take on you a twisted road that you didn't expect when you started the film, none of them expected it while they were filming! But it is definitely not a horror or even a suspense film. It's a telling portrayal of relationships in the internet/social media era.

This is a great film that you should watch without knowing anything more about it. Avoid more trailers and TV commercials for it if you can, because they'll just lead to you expect something else entirely. Nev is a relatable, charasmatic lead for this story about facebook, friendship, and relationships. You never know who you can trust, even when you share everything with them.

Catfish opens today along with Easy A, The Town, Never Let Me Go, and Devil. While this won't be opening at number one in such a crowded market, it is definitely worth checking out.

The greatest marching band in the history of the universe, aka The Trojan Marching Band, stopped by the Hawaii 5-0 set to help get the cast into character.

I probably won't be checking out this series, but I LOVE this promo!
