Seeing this actually makes me a bit sad. Do you listen to This American Life? Here is the episode where they talk to the guy this really happened to. All of the stories in this episode are really interesting (you can listen to it online, don't have to pay to download it). Yeah, I heard about that. That was for a different "Fake Ted", this particular "Ted" went along with it really well and is popular in the Improv scene so he was used to it.
