I'm a huge Jake Gylenhaal fan and I'm so glad he's taking a stab at action movies. I know they don't really expand on one's acting cred, but they are fun and give him an opportunity to show off his newly well defined muscles. I approve! Check out the trailer below. Will you go see it?
Definitely! I think it'll be a lot of fun--love the visuals, Gyllenhaal sems like a great fit (despite the weird casting, he actually looks like the guy from the game cover), and I'm getting a clever, adventur-y "Pirates of the Caribbean"-like vibe from the trailer. The story sounds cool too--hopefully this will be the first truly good video-game movie...

ReplyDeleteBut seriously, I love the visual effects with the sands of time. it looks really neat! I was little thrown by Jake's accent at first, but I'm sure I'll get used to it within the movie. Overall, I think it'll be a great summer flick.
