And the reveal that Emma CAN sing! and dance! I love her joy in her song "I Could Have Danced All Night":
More news that'll make Glee fans happy:
- A DVD of the first 13 episodes will be released on Dec. 29th. Too bad it's not before the holidays, would've been a great gift!
- Glee is on the cover of the new Entertainment Weekly! They also had a great photo shoot with them. It looks like they had so much fun!
- They'll be singing the National Anthem during the 3rd game of the World Series. This will probably be the only time I will ever actively watch a baseball game.
- The soundtrack is coming out on November 3! If everything goes my way, I'll have an advance copy by the end of the week and will be reviewing it here.
- Joss Whedon is going to be directing an episode towards the end of the season. My favorite TV show creator joining one of my favorite new shows? TV bliss!
Love this post - Gleek!!!!
ReplyDeleteOverall, I thought that it was a very good episode with some superb songs and amazing dancing, but I do think they tried to cram too much into the time alloted.
ReplyDeleteI think it was fitting that it was titled "Mash-up" because I felt that's what they were doing with all of the storylines. Still better than most stuff on TV right now.
I <3 Glee!!!!!
ReplyDelete@Marcos, I think that's a problem a lot of the episodes have. And while they fit so much action, they end up resetting it at the end of the episode so it's like nothing happened. There's so much happening yet not enough forward movement. But I still love it SO much because of the great one-liners, Jane Lynch's Sue, and the music.
ReplyDelete@Sky & @Kelly: omg, i love this show so much!! :)
