Jed Whedon wishes you a Merry Christmas

I'm a huge fan of the Joss Whedon crew, especially Jed Whedon and his wife Mo Tancharoen. You probably don't recognize their names, but if you've seen Dr. Horrible's Sing a Long Blog then you've loved their work. That was their first major writing project and have since done some amazing work on Dollhouse. With Dollhouse over, I can't wait to see what their next project is. Maybe they've moved with Joss to the Marvel Universe?

Now that you know who they are, watch their holiday greeting. Merry Christmas everyone!

Merry Christmas with Zombies!

Merry Christmas to my readers who celebrate! I'm spending the day with family and my new fiance (!! getting used to saying that :)), eating way too much and swapping presents. I hope you all have a great day, whether you're celebrating or not.

In honor of the holiday, enjoy this mash up of Home Alone and I Am Legend:

My Birthday Wish: Donate to The Children's Heart Foundation

I normally don't post about my personal life here, but it's my birthday on December 23rd and I have a birthday wish from my readers. Please donate to The Children's Heart Foundation.

I was born with a pretty serious heart murmur, which lead to me having open heart surgery as a child. It's through organizations like The Children's Heart Foundation that I'm able to lead a normal life today and be as physically active and healthy as any other soon-to-be-24-year-old.

I know the economy isn't great (recovering supposedly, but still not great), so asking for donations around the holidays is hard. But it would mean so much to me if you would donate in honor of my birthday, or for Christmas.

Feeling generous this holiday season? Donate to The Children's Heart Foundation!

Merry Christmas and Happy Hannukah!
