Field of Dreams 2: The Solution for the NFL Lockout
With all the hub-bub over the impending NFL Lockout, I'm surprised someone hasn't built their own "field of dreams" already. Watch this great Funny or Die short starring Taylor Lautner, with tons of great cameos from athletes to people from the original FIELD OF DREAMS.
Catch the video after the break, and let me know your favorite cameo in the comments!

March Madness Begins!
USC plays tonight in March Madness! I'm so excited, I'll be pigging out and cheering loudly at LA's newest Buffalo Wild Wings. In honor of the occasion, check out the best NCAA March Madness moments, as reenacted by Legos.

My Favorite Super Bowl Ads
Overall, I thought it was a pretty weak selection of ads this year. There was a whole lot of can throwing, iPhone close ups, and just overall boring spots that faded from memory as soon as the game came back on. However, there were a few bright spots.
Captain America: The First Avenger
While Thor and Pirates of the Caribbean 4 gave us footage we'd all seen before, this gave us some wholly new clips and did not disappoint.
Star Wars Kid for Volkswagon
I was a bit miffed that commercials were coming out before the game (way to kill the suspense!) but this ad still proved to be among the best after all was said and done.
Bridgestone's Reply All Fiasco
Who hasn't worried about this very disaster occurring? Well, this tire would help you drive fast and accurately enough to stop everyone from reading that email.
NFL Super Bowl ad using old TV Shows
As a huge TV fan, I loved that they used these clips from older shows to illustrate just how the Super Bowl, and football in general is integrated into our culture. Plus, looking back at these old shows just made me feel warm and fuzzy inside.

The rise of TV's 'Anti-Mom'
Do You Suffer from Sexsomnia? You're not alone.
Fox Sells 80% of Super Bowl - It's Only June, but Marketer Interest Is Spurring Unusual Ad-Sales Pace for Big Game.
12-year-old uses World of Warcraft skills to save his sister from moose attack
Food Trucks & Other Mobile Eateries that Twitter - comprehensive list of all the LA gourmet food trucks.
TV Viewers Watch Different Shows Online
'Glee' sings to a forgotten generation - Journey, Young MC and Cyndi Lauper. The show grooves to the '80s while turning stereotypes on their head. Finally, the music of tail-end boomers is heard.
Glee Shows Dangerous Signs of Ryan Murphy Syndrome - I've been worried since the back 9 started to falter.

Super Bowl XLIV
What a great game! The Saints vs. Colts game was definitely the best superbowl I've ever seen. Not necessarily for the game play itself, but for the fact that I actually cared about the outcome and was pulling for a team. The city of New Orleans deserved this one and the better team won. But, I'll leave the sports talk to those more in the know than I (pst, have you checked out my boyfriend's sports/poker blog?).
Now, on to things I know more about - commercials! There were some really great ads, this year, but I'll just post my favorite one below:
I love how they were able to tell a whole story without any spoken words. Plus, the quietness of the commercial actually made more people pay attention, at least at the Super Bowl party I was at.
For more of the commercials you can check out Hulu's AdZone through this widget:
I hope you all enjoyed the game!

Linkulous: Broadcast Television, Green Lantern, Football, and more
For being a short week, it felt a lot longer. Oh well, price of being busy busy busy I guess. Here are some articles I enjoyed this week. Check 'em out!
Dollhouse: (Briefly) The Best Show on Television - since its cancellation was announced, it's like the show's been on steroids! So much is happening in each episode, it's firing in all cylinders, and throwing surprises at us left and right. I LOVE IT.
Pushing Daisies Rises From The Dead. Sort Of.
"Green Lantern" will have a "Flash Gordon" element - I'm definitely looking forward to this movie. Ryan Reynolds will make a great superhero.
NBC's Slide From TV Heights to Troubled Nightly Punch Line
More Than a Rough Patch - A graph showing the decline in broadcast networks. It's definitely not just a recent trend.
Football Has 11 Minutes of Action - no wonder the advertising for football games is so expensive!
Get a Mac: Mashable's 5 Favorite Ads
TCA Set Visit Highlights: Chuck Q&A
New Spider-Man Director - really? I'm surprised by the choice. I'm intrigued to see how this pans out.
Burton to Direct Sleeping Beauty Tale for Disney?
24 Free iPhone Apps for Job Hunting
Red-faced from drinking? It could be an evolutionary advantage - I don't get red from drinking (yay, half-white! lol), but it's interesting that it could actually be a good thing.
Top 100 Funniest Google Street View Images - thanks, Ashley!
Joss Whedon to be awarded the Vanguard Award from the Producers Guild - now if he could just get a show on the air that networks didn't meddle with!
Open Letter from OK Go
Top 25 "Lost" Moments
How to Disappear on Facebook and Twitter - but why would you want to?
How NBC Gave Conan His Groove Back
