SNL Highlight: Really??!?! with Seth & Kermit

One of my favorite segments of Weekend Update has always been "REALLY!?! with Seth & Amy" so I was super excited to hear it would be back on the show. Then you add in a Muppet and it just skyrocketed to the top of my list of awesome things that happened this weekend. Watch Seth and Kermit take down the whole "pizza is a vegetable" nonsense that happened in Congress last week:

SNL Highlight: Jason Segel and THE MUPPETS Opening Monologue

Please tell me you're excited for the new MUPPETS movie! If not, I don't know if we can be online friends. Jason Segel took the Saturday Night Live stage this past weekend and did an excellent job hosting, along with some stellar cameos from Muppets, Paul Rudd, and a politician. Check out the great musical opening monologue after the break.

In somewhat related news: KCET and PBS split. I wonder what channel they'll strike a deal with in it's place. I can't imagine PBS not having a Los Angeles affiliate.

Sesame Street Likes True Blood

What shows does Sesame Street think kids watch nowadays?! Between this, the Mad Men parody, and the Katy Perry appearance, Sesame Street is becoming more and more adult friendly. I'm enjoying the skits, but I wonder how much kids get these jokes. I hope kids aren't out there watching True Blood - that show is far too graphic! And I doubt kids have the patience for the slow burn that is Mad Men.
