Netflix Watch Instant: The Complete Series of Dollhouse

You missed out on this great show. Don't lie, you know you didn't watch it. I know because no one did. It's ok, I forgive you. Airing in the Friday dead zone, it's totally understandable. But now thanks to Netflix Watch Instant, you can watch this gem of a show that everybody missed.

Dollhouse suffered from taking too long to find it's voice, mainly because of network meddling in yet another great Joss Whedon show. Seriously, you'd think he'd have learned after Firefly, but Eliza Dushku's contract with Fox made it impossible to take this show elsewhere. While at times it was a clunky, flat vehicle for Eliza Dushku, it found it's footing and became an indepth look at what makes a personwho they are, with the recurring theme of what is a soul and if love could really conquer all.

The show could be hit or miss, but when it hit it was the best thing on television that week. Watch a trailer below and then hop over to Netflix and get to marathoning! With only 2 short seasons, it's a fairly quick watch as far as television series go.

My Golden Globe Predictions (Part 1)

This Sunday are the Golden Globes and while there have been a lot of awards given out from critics all over the nation, the Golden Globes are the biggest profile awards before the Oscars. While they aren't exactly predictors of what will win the Golden Statuette come February, it's still fun to predict and theorize. Below my predictions on who will win are in Underlined Italics.

With THE SOCIAL NETWORK picking up award after award, I really think it will come out victorious for the Golden Globes and ultimately, the Oscar. Although, given that this is the Hollywood Foreign Press that votes for the winners, I could see the crowd pleaser, England centered THE KING'S SPEECH edging it out.

I really don't know how most of these movies were nominated. The HFPA strikes again! BURLESQUE, THE TOURIST, and ALICE IN WONDERLAND were all panned by critics. And while I enjoyed RED, I definitely don't think it should be a part of any award discussion. I think the winner here is obvious.

I'm glad to see Emma Stone and EASY A getting recognized, but again I think THE KIDS ARE ALL RIGHT is the only true award contender in this category. If the two leads end up splitting the vote, I could see Angelina Jolie grabbing a surprise win. She's an international star and the HFPA did love THE TOURIST.

This is a tough one because I think BLACK SWAN, THE SOCIAL NETWORK, and THE KING'S SPEECH are all strong contenders for the major awards. Which is why I think they'll end up splitting them instead of one film sweeping the major categories. TSN will take Best Picture, BLACK SWAN will get Best Director, and Aaron Sorkin will get Best Screenplay.

This may be wishful thinking on my part, but TANGLED was the best non-Pixar Disney flick in a while and deserves to be recognized. While I think TOY STORY 3 has Best Animated on lock, this song captured a beautiful moment in the film.
